FoSTaC – Food Safety Training & Certification
About The Project
FoSTaC is an initiative by FSSAI to ensure that food handlers and supervisors across India are trained in basic, advanced, and specialized food safety protocols. It is mandatory for certain food businesses and promotes safe practices from production to distribution.
Objectives
The program aims to improve hygiene standards among food vendors, small businesses, and institutions. It ensures legal compliance by creating certified Food Safety Supervisors and reducing food-related health risks in communities.
Our Role
We partnered with FSSAI-approved trainers to conduct sessions for street vendors, school kitchens, and small eateries. Our NGO focused on reaching remote and low-income areas, helping over [X] participants gain certification and adopt better hygiene practices.
